I could not fall asleep last night. Actually I guess I fell asleep several times, but I couldn't STAY asleep. I have no idea what time it was when I finally fell asleep for the night. I do, however, know what time it was when I woke up...8:15. Ugh. If you're not a teacher on summer vacation then you might not understand how completely unnecessary that is. Anyway, after we hopped...uh, okay...more like dragged our butts out of bed, we got dressed for the Aqua Fit class and headed to the gym. After about 10 minutes in the pool...we realized that the instructor was not coming. Yes, you read that right. We woke up early for nothing! After a few more minutes in the pool then sitting in the sauna until I felt like I was gonna choke (about 12 minutes) and seeing some old lady's bare ass in the locker room, we headed home.
We spent the rest of the day "shopping" for our master suite makeover. It'll happen one day. Hopefully.
As we were shopping, Cindy's sister, Crystal, called to tell us that she and her sister from another mister (no, literally...she has a sister from another mister) were headed to our house for a visit. That means 4 kids (ages 5-8) have taken over our house. I'm not kidding...these kids are awesome, but they are like mini tropical storms! Should be fun tomorrow when my sister and the boys come over and we all go to the splash pad and pool! For now, everyone is snug as a bug in a rug watching a movie. Let's hope The peace lasts!
