Pool time and a bush trimming! Good times!

Yesterday we took the nieces and nephews to the pool/splash pad at one of our sister communities. I don't care how old you are, that place is pretty awesome. I seriously don't know who had more fun, the kids or us!

I even got a surprise thank you kiss from Jack, which is a rare treat! After everyone packed up and left, Cindy and I hit the gym for a step class. Our legs felt like jello, but that still didn't stop us from heading out for a nice dinner...after a quick shower, of course.
Today started off with an early Aqua Fit class for me, and sleeping in for Cin : ) We shopped around for heart rate monitors, had lunch, then spent the rest of the afternoon watching the new Eddie Murphy movie, A Thousand Words. You're probably anxiously wondering where the bush trimming comes in, huh? Well, we have a huge bush (haha) in the corner of our yard that covers a huge electrical box. While I appreciate the purpose it serves, I hate that thing! I'm always wondering what (or who...yes, I have an active imagination) is lurking behind it. Thanks to Pinterest and my previously mentioned active imagination, I decided that the bush should go and a lattice box should cover the box with a few, small, pretty plants surrounding it. Sounds pretty, right? Well, today was phase one of Operation No More Bush. (I should have tshirts made.) You can see a before, during, and after shot of phase one. That's it, peeps! Time to hit the hay! Yard sales and Pilates are on the agenda for tomorrow! G'night!
